Vita dhidi ya wauzaji na wasafirishaji dawa za kulevya inazidi kupamba moto, na sasa JAMHURI imepata orodha ya watu wengine 245 wanaotajwa kuwa ndiyo ‘mapapa’ wa biashara hiyo haramu hapa nchini.
Idadi hii ni tofauti na ile iliyochapishwa na gazeti hili katika toleo lililopita. Tofauti na orodha hiyo ya awali, kwenye hii mpya JAMHURI imefanikiwa kupata makazi ya baadhi ya ‘mapapa’ hao ambao miongoni mwao ni waimba taarab maarufu.
Katika orodha tuliyochapisha hapa chini, baadhi ya mapapa hao ni raia wa kigeni. Majina ya nchi wanazotoka tumeyaonesha kwenye mabano, kama ilivyo kwa Watanzania ambao sehemu wanakotoka pia tumezionesha katika mabano. Majina kadhaa ya ‘mapapa’ hao hayana majina ya sehemu wanazotoka. Juhudi za kubaini maeneo hayo zinaendelea.
Uchunguzi uliofanywa na JAMHURI kwa wiki kadhaa sasa umefanikiwa kupata orodha ya watuhumiwa hao wakuu ambao asilimia 99 wako rumande wakishikiliwa na vyombo vya dola, huku wengine wakiwa wamefikishwa mahakamani.
Asilimia zaidi ya 90 ya ‘mapapa’ hao wapo jijini Dar es Salaam, huku maeneo ya Kinondoni, Magomeni na Mbezi yakiongoza kwa kutoa idadi kubwa. Kilo moja ya cocaine inauzwa Sh milioni 50.
Kwenye orodha hii mpya, wamo Watanzania na raia wa mataifa mbalimbali walionaswa kwa nyakati tofauti, wengine wakiwa wamejichimbia kwenye mahekalu katika maeneo ya Mbezi, Oysterbay na Masaki.
Miongoni mwa ‘mapapa’ hao ni Fredy William Chonde (mkazi wa Magomeni), Kambi Zuberi (Temeke), Abdul Ghan na Shahbaz Maliki (Pakistani) waliokamatwa wakiwa na kilo 175 za heroin. Mapapa wawili – Shahbaz na Maliki ambao ni raia wa Pakistani, wametoroka nchini baada ya kupewa dhamana katika mazingira tata.
Papa mwingine, Ally Mirzai Pirbakhish ambaye ni Mpakistani, amekamatwa akiwa na waimba taarabu maarufu ambao wote ni wakazi wa Kinondoni. Waimbaji hao ni Aziz Juma Kizingiti, Said Mashaka Mrisho, Abdulahman Mtumwa, na Hamidu Kitwana Karimu.
Pia kuna watuhumiwa Ismail Shebe Ismail, Rashid Salim na Majed Gholamghader (wote wakazi wa Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam) waliokamatwa wakiwa na kilo 50 za heroin.
Raia wa Afrika Kusini, Jack Vuyo na Anastazia Elizabeth Cloete, wako mbaroni kwa kukutwa na kilo 42 za heroin. Mnigeria aliyetambuliwa kwa jina la Kwako Sarfo amekamatwa akiwa na kilo 11.951 za cocaine.
Mapapa wengine ni wakazi wa Kinondoni jijini Dar es Salaam, Aziz Juma Kizingiti, Said Mashaka Mrisho, Abdulahman Mtumwa, Hamidu Kitwana Karimu na Mpakistani Ally Mirzai Pirbakhish waliokamatwa wakiwa na kilo 97 za cocaine.
Kwenye orodha hiyo wamo Mwanaidi Ramadhan Mfundo ambaye ameolewa na raia wa Kenya, lakini nyumbani kwa wazazi wake ni Mbezi Beach, Dar es Salaam. Wengine ni Sara David Munuo (Kenya), Anthony Karanja (Kenya), Benny Ngare (Kenya), Almas Hamis Said (Kinondoni), Yahaya Haroun Ibrahim (Kinondoni), Aisha Said Kungwi (Mwenge, Dar es Salaam), Rajabu Juma Mzome (Mbezi Luis) na John William Mwakalasya ambaye ni mkazi wa Temeke jijini Dar es Salaam.
Aidha, yumo Mtanzania mwenye asili ya Kiasia anayeitwa Rashid Ally Mtopea (mkazi wa Magomeni, Dar es Salaam) ambaye pamoja na wenzake wawili – Idd Adam Mwaduga (Tanga) na Nurdin Husein (Ilala) wamekamatwa wakiwa na kilo 12 za heroin.
